Last weekend, I attended a wedding. One of my closest friend got hitch last weekend. Well, actually, they have been living together for 11 years and only this year that they decided to marry. It was funny because not any of them knows where to place the engagement ring as well as the wedding ring. And not even one of us knew where to place it.
So while I was browsing some great rings from tungsten rings, I searched on where rings should be placed. But sometimes the engagement ring is left on the ring finger and the wedding ring is also placed there, the left ring finger wears two kinds of ring.
Engagement ring is placed on the left ring finger and at the time of the wedding it is replaced with the wedding ring.
Wedding ring is to be wear on the left ring finger. They say that the reason for this is because the left ring finger has a direct connection to the heart. But some practices suggest otherwise, wedding ring is sometimes placed on the right ring finger.
Graduation ring, we all know is also called as class ring. This is the ring given to students who finished their courses. The ring should be worn on the left ring finger too, since this signifies the closeness of the class to the heart of the wearer.
As I learned about rings, I noticed that most rings are placed on the left ring finger because of its connection to the heart.
